Up by 5:30 am. Breakfast at the hotel at 6:45: a nice buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, egg cups, potatoes, assorted fruit, breads, pastries, cereal, coffee, etc. took the shuttle with SherBill at 8 am to the Venice airport, went through security, had our last cappuccino in Italy, and boarded the flight for Atlanta at 10 am.We survived the 10 1/2 hour flight from Venice and are now in Atlanta awaiting the last leg of our trip home. We enjoyed our last breakfast at Antica Corte and said our farewells to our host, Cristian. Since it was very hot, we decided to avoid lots of walking and visit a renowned villa on the way to our Venice hotel. We all enjoyed touring the rooms and grounds of Villa Pisani in Stra, Italy on the Brenta Canal.
