We are back in Phuket! We got a 30 day visa so needed somewhere to stay for a while and decided on Phuket as it literally has everything especially as it's low season in Thailand now and the weather isn't always great! We got our room for £5 a night and it's lovely! Nice place to spend my birthday. It's opposite a really nice spa and gym so we decided to have a little treat and got an oil massage. We were both in a room together which was really nice. We joined the gym for the time we are here as it was buy one week get one week free which was a bargain! We got a facial in the shopping mall as it was a special promotion and the lady had to clean Toms nose as he had lots of bogeys haha. He actually fell asleep during the facial which isn't usual for him. We went to patong beach which surprisingly was really pretty isn't think the sand would be so white. We just got back from Phuket Night Market which was amazing! They had everything you could think of there and all for so cheap! Also a pets corner so I was there for a while! I managed to find my favourite strawberry and yogurt smoothie so I was very happy! We haven't had one sunny day since we've been here it's been raining constantly so we haven't been able to do any day trips it doesn't look like the rain is going to stop either. We went and saw Planet of the Apes which was amazing we both loved it! It was my birthday and I woke up to balloons and a little birthday cake. Tom got me a postcard and turned it in to a birthday card which was very cute! We decided to do Elephant Trekking for my birthday we got there and had the whole place to ourselves! I honestly didn't realise how big they were it was crazy. After five minutes of riding the elephant he farted twice and it stunk! We was worried the elephant was going to get hit but the only time the trainer hit him was with his hand to kill a fly that was on the elephants ear which was really cute. We then got to feed a baby elephant and and adult elephant lots of bananas and both got snot all over our hands but it was worth it! We went for a really nice lunch for my birthday treat and we then played pool (I won) we went on a night out and of course I got a pizza at the end of the night! We've been discovering new foods and we tried durian we both can't even explain the taste, texture or smell it was pretty vile! We have had a couple of sunny days which we have spent on the beach relaxing. Today we woke up and it was sunny so we went to the beach after a couple of hours I started to feel a little funny so I said to Tom I needed a drink he got up and hugged me and I literally fainted in his arms. Next thing I was on the floor with loads of people around me offering me Thai herbs, sugar and water! It was so horrible but luckily everyone is used to it here and randomly an american first aid man was sitting right next to us on the beach so he helped. Tom got me home safely fed me lots of sugar and water and now I am feeling much better yay! It's our last day in Phuket and we are doing a 17 hour bus journey tomorrow back to Bangkok which is going to be really painful!
