Hi everyone so its been a long time since I last wrote which I thought might happen when we reached Oz, its been so hectic!So wew flew in to Cairns and stayed in Gilligans the biggest hostel and nightclub in Cairns so it was pretty messy. We had a six dorm room and meet some really nice people which i think we will be seeing again as we move down the coast. The first night in cairns we ended up going to the cinema and watching Paranormal activity 2 going back to get an early night and getting woken up by the 2 lads in out room at 3am. The rest of Cairns consisted of lots of drinking and sleeping in the day. We did an ultimate party bus while we were there which turned into a very drunken night thanks to lot of free drinks from a navy bloke and and mine and Sarahs cunning tricks in which we stole drunk peoples drinks lol!We finally left Cairns for our own health and jumped on the Oz experience bus our first journey with them and made our way to Mission beach. On route we stopped at Babina Boulders which is a really beautiful river with massive boulders forming rapids. while we were there we saw loads of massive spiders and Sarah found a huge one hiding at the table we all went to sit down at. After this we went to a crocodile farm which was awesome, we got to feed kangaroos, play with the dingos and hold a baby croc!While i was holding the croc Sarah tried to stroke it and it nearly took her face off and i nearly dropped it, which isnt as bad as one girl Charlotte who did actually drop it on the floor. Mission Beach was our next stop for 2 nights, it was very pretty but there was nothing to do there at all as we couldnt even swim in the sea as it is the start of stinger season!We spent our time there chilling out and getting to no a ferw people really well who we have ended up staying with while we were on Maggie Island and here in Airlie Beach. The next journey took us to Magnetic Island where we stayed for 3 nights, maggie island is meant to have 320 days of sun a year and it managed to rain for 2 out of the 3 days that we were there for bit unlucky lol. The first night started well then we got greedy with the free cocktail and ended up getting drunk with a bloke on out trip Duncun who proceeded to drink elephant (11) jagerbombs you can imagine what he was like. The drinking games started and a irish girl we were with won her game and won a car which she gave to us as she was leaving the follwing morning. The next day we picked ther car up and used it to drive to the other side of the island to go on a walk called Forts walk so see wild Koalas - the walk was nice but we didnt see any koalas :(. That night Sarah was chef and cooked up a nice spag bol for all 8 of us and we had a chilled evening playing bar wars. Our last day on maggie was spent chilling on the beach and gettiong dressed up for the bin bad comp that night, sarah was designer and did an amazing job but we were robbed by 3 nuns!!! From maggie we headed further down south to Airlie Beach we got here last night and just did some essentials - laundry and got pizza and had an early night. Today we booked trips to Fraser Island and Whitsundays which we leave for 2morrow afternoon for 2 days and 2 nights, really looking forward to that. When we get back we have a few more nights here then head of to Krombit cattle station to ride some horses - canmt wait. Speak soon love to everyone xxxxxxx
