Ok, well, I'm gonna go ahead and give my version of the first two days then!!!
Monday was basically awaiting around day, find stuff to do before 6 o'clock really, although for Jade it was more like, oooh I better buy every Phil thought of and I didn't!!! but we'll ignore that!!
But, this blog should really start with us leaving. It turned into...ummm an emotional affair, not too surprisingly, really. But for me it was if there was a big build up to the good bye and then it was over like that...even though we had the police in the airport laughing at us, because we had a circle of people we had to go around and hug, and the tears and all that malakey!
So me and Jade finally got through passport control and I bought the old duty free aftershave, and then we sat down...We didn't say much untill we sat down, because we were both stilll, umm on edge! Then Jade found out her brew hadn't put all her music on her ipod, so it looks like we're stuck listening to mine, lucky I've got fantastic taste in music then ey!!!
On the the flight then, and we find out our tv screens don't work, and even though, they 'did everything they could', which was fairly frustrating, but hey hey!!! Not much else to say about it really, other than why the airplane companies attempt to make fancy food, when its fairly obvious to everyone that if they just kept it simple, so one might enjoy it!! (god I sound like an old man)
When we arrived we manage to piss offf a taxi driver who thought he was gonning to get paid 400 baht, even though we'd agreed with him to pay 80, so of course, we got our way, and then went off to try and find a guest house. We got the driver to drop us at Khoa San road, which I'd heard was the place to place to be if your a traveller, and I can see why those who want travelling to be there, insteading of you having to make it for your self, or going looking for it, would like it. But it looks like theres enough around here to keep us entertained for a bit. Although we were searching for a while to find a place to stay. In the end we found this place, that has this internet cafe down stairs, very basic rooms, but we've got to start somewhere!!
That me
Phil, missing people already. I stopped thinking about it for a while, but when I started sending texts to say I was here it hit me that 5 and a half months is actually a very long time, for the first time. Love you all.
