On the 17th we got up early again and headed off on our a nice bus trip from Chau Doc to Saigon. The trip took 6 -7 hours but we had a lovely stop along the way at a great restaurant where the food was fab. We arrived in Saigon and Neen, Jacqui, Helen and Pat went on a little walking tour to have a look around. We saw the Reunification Palance, the Market, Notre Dame and the Post Office. The city was very pretty  That night we headed out to celebrate our last offical night as a group and Padhraig's birthday. Had a great meal and then we headed to a bar called Go Go Go 2 Bar. It was great we stayed there till quite late and Neen wowed everyone with his dancing. He also had a dance off with Kieran which was the funniest thing I have ever seen.
On the 18th we got up late ish and Jacqui headed off to the internet. We then met up with those of our group who were continuing on another tour through Vietnam and those from our Cambodia tour who had not gone home. We all headed for lunch at Pho 24. Pho is Vietnam's signature dish - meat and noodle soup - it was very tasty. Neen and jacqui then headed off on a Rickshaw tour of the city and popped into the War Museum which was interesting. Lots of pictures taken during the war from both sides. That night we all ate together with the new tour leader and us gate crashers - we went to a BBQ restaurant were some of the group ate Scorpion!!!! We then had a little pool party back at the hotel - Neen and Helen ended up in the pool
