Early start today at 7am we went off to the Kruger National Park to see if we would be lucky enough to see what is known as the Big 5 - elephants, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopards. A first time visit for Jacqui & Neen - the park is the size of Wales!!! We choose the southern end of the park for our Game hunt. How lucky we would be. Within the first 2 hours we had achieved the Big 5. We saw one single rhino and an elephant within an hour and we were just coming around a corner when we spotted a number of cars and camera's pointed up into a tree. It took us a while to work out what we could see but it was a leopard sleeping on a branch panting away. We got a photo and you will be able to see how hidden he was feeling happy after the find we drove off onto another route - again to see a number of stopped cars. The where 3 lioness lying under a tree by the side of the road. They where just looking at us all probably wondering what's the big deal with these people! We also saw hippo, springbok, zebra's, crocodiles, wildebeest to name but a few. It was a great day but very hot!!!!
