On the morning of the 7th we headed off to see a little mining town of old called Walhalla. It was a great drive to get up to it on a winding road through the mountains. On the 6th we carried on with driving to Melbourne. We headed off to a very small little village called Tilba - traditionally aussie selling to die for nougat and fudge. Mmmmmm. Then we did a coastal drive with lovely beaches and brush land. That night we stayed at a motel in Stratford (the other thing you notice is there are lots of english named places)

On the 5th we took the car and started driving down to Melbourne. Another big day in the car we did 450km's. We finally ended up in Bermagui which is a small little town on the beach. We stayed in a lovely motel

Today 3rd we did a bit of preparation for New Zealand - we bought some warmer clothes Then we headed to the Botanic Gardens to get another view of the harbour bridge and opera house. On the 31st we took the coastal drive to Sydney - it was really nice some moutains to go over as well. We headed over to Palm beach to sample the best fish and chips Neen has ever had.
