On the 14th we headed off to catch our ferry to Picton in the South Island. The ferry crossing was amazing - spectacular views going through the Queen Charlotte Sounds. We arrived in Picton and headed off to our accomodation a little bit out of town over looking the bay and marina. The place we stayed was like a home from home. On the 13th we headed back into Melbourne after spending the morning looking around Lorne. Took the car back and checked in for our flight to Wellington - we arrive in Wellington at midnight Not much to tell about the flight we watched a film called Wild Hogs which was very funny. Arived in Wellington and caught a taxi to our hotel - very nice old hotel in teh centre of town. SLEEP

On the 12th we headed back into Melbourne to have a look around. We visited St Kilda which is a little beach 15 minutes from the town centre with lovely old victorian streets and beautiful houses. This is where Neighbours is filmed We then realised that Neen had left his phone in Apollo Bay - whoops we are not doing too well on leaving things behind at the moment!!! On the 10th we set off on our drive of the Great Ocean Road to the west of Melbourne. It is a lovely dirve on winding roads huging the coast line and mountains. We had a look at Bells Beach and Torquay beach which are in Surf Coast Shire - yeap there are lots of shires in Australia. We drove through the rainforest and managed to spot Koala's in the trees which was nice. We finally ended the day in Apollo Bay and found a nice motel to stay in - it was busy as ...
