Day 17: Koh Samui: our first day on this island began with a thunderstorm; something we hadn't experienced in many months! The rain was intermittent all day but that didn't stop us from renting scooters and exploring the entire island (we rode the entire circumference). Day 1: Bangkok: arrived at our hotel and napped for an hour while others showered and cleaned up after some long smelly flights. Went out and found the night market after dark and bought some stuff with the locals.
