A Year in Oman
Our last day in Sri Lanka was pretty full. We were first headed to the Turtle hatchery. We got to hold day-old sea turtles and learn about how the hatchery helps to keep the numbers of turtles in the safe zone from extinction. After that it was off to a spice plantation where we got to learn about native plants and their medicinal purposes. Leanne got a face and leg rub down and I had a small patch of hair removed from my legs by mysterious goo made from Sri Lankan trees; it was very educational! We then headed in to Colombo to a bazaar to look around before heading to the airport for our flight back to Muscat. An amazing adventure in Sri Lanka that will not be forgotten!
