Friday, July 11: We awoke to the sound of screaming babies in the campsite next to us so were off to a bit of a rough start. Thursday, July 10: Today was our anniversary and we had a great relaxing morning getting set up and ready for our Deep Sea Fishing adventure. We headed in to Darwin and parked at Mindil Beach and caught a cab to the marina where we met our Deep Sea Fishing Guides and got on the boat. Wednesday, July 9: We awoke to the sunset at Berry Springs Caravan Park and got ready to hit Darwin early. We headed into the city and decided to go straight to Mindil Beach to check out the sand and water that we had missed so dearly due to Winter in South Australia. Tuesday, July 8: Today we were determined to make it to Darwin, 3000 km from home in Clare. We drove and watched the scenery change from desert to tropics and the temperature rose from 13 degrees to 32 degrees by the time we made it to our destination, the Berry Springs Caravan Park just South of Darwin. Monday, July 7: We awoke to a very cold morning and decided that this would be the day that we made the greatest distance. We left Alice Springs, stopped at Macca's for a coffee and hit the pavement.
