So today - is another chilled day, we try to spend it organising our next move researching hire cars, RVs and then settle on buying a second-hand car and kitting it out with a mattress, kind of like a station wagon or truck of sorts. John and Chris are off to Jess' mum for Mother's Day lunch and then they are off to a gig later tonight - some weird band we can't pronounce or spell so we chill as public transport to VC is not straight forward from Pitt Meadows,...

Everyone is a bit delicate today! John takes us to Billy's a bar by the water for lunch. They serve the most simple and tasty dish here called Poutine which is made up of chips topped with chicken jalapenos and sweet chilli sauce with goats' cheese on top - it's delicious!!! Matt has a similar dish with BBQ and garlic sauces. We meet John's mate Kris he's really friendly and chatty and we're useless in our hungover states! We're all a bit tired so opt for a BB...

We head out early off to the Seattle bus depot to catch our Amtrak bus to VC. The bus was pretty comfortable and we got chatting to a girl from Michigan called Amber. We wake up late and decide to use up more of our city pass heading to the Aquarium, it's down by the Port literally facing the water. As far as Aquariums go it's fine, the highlight being the adorable otters and seals - the otters in particular are hilarious apparently, they sleep holding their mate's hands at night so they don't lose each other downstream - how cute is that! We head off to the pier and grab a soda (all American like) and book tickets for a 4.30...
