Today's the day we have our Sydney night out but we firstly attempt to find and Internet cafe where Matt can restore his new IPhone - this is something Sydney desperately needs shockingly!!

Everywhere we go can't accommodate the download!! So, we end up in a great backpackers' bar called Scary Canary - it's happy hour and £2 a G&T and Scooner of Cider (3/4pint), needless to say we take great advantage. We walk past the revolving tower heading to gorgeous Darling Harbour in search of live music.

It's a love bridge and the cheesiest Magic FM style love songs are played as we walk - Matt tries for a dance, Jacq walks on ;) Under the advice of two English lads we head for Scruffy Murphy's - they do have a live band but it's an awful shame the backing tracks they use are louder than them so we head for a Karaoke bar - Matt does his police tribute and it's a good laugh. Getting home however is another story - mission!!!

The night buses keep deferring us to other buses and streets to get to Narrabeen - an hour later we find our bus and it's home to bed with a merry Matt in great form and donning a new Captain Morgans cowboy hat he nicked from the band.
