Got to bed around 8am after brekkie, Jacq gets up at 1pm feeling okish not wanting to miss out on our last day - she heads to the pool where Judy and Sheila are waiting they are in stitches when the find out we got to bed so late - dirty stop outs!!!
Matts still snoozing so Jacq chills by the pool until he arrives and then an announcement comes over the intercom for a hairy chest competition - Judy, Jacq and Sheila head over for a gander - it's hilarious! Each guy has to strut down a stair well shaking his rear through a gauntlet of randy women who have to act out a car wash - in other words rub him down - some of its so invasive it's cringing but it's a great laugh and Judy's not long joining them although a bit more restrained than some.
Our lovely new mate Jesse is involved and comes 2nd the final stage which involves jumping in the pool after a bucket and acting out a bay watch type move but poor Jesse forgot his phone was in his pocket and it's now ruined. ☹
We head back and meet Matt deciding we all need to meet up tonight for a little drink to say goodbye - is going to be so sad leaving these lovely people.
We head out for dinner and meet Judy, Sheila, Diane, Ronnie, Debbie, Gerard, Peggy, Paul and Jesse at 8.30 to watch the band - the golden girls come armed with 2 bottles of champagne and we toast the best week had with the best people - selfie stick action compulsory.
Then the band announces they want Matt up on stage to sing - he gets up and dedicates the song to Jacq for her birthday and belts out "every breath you take" by the police - it goes down a storm and our whole group are cheering and videoing him, the night is full of laughs, hugs and swapping of numbers we meet Kym and his wife Cheryl again who are from Vancouver and vow to touch base when we are in their area.
We all decide to end the night early as there's lots of packing to do Sheila and Judy give us more rum, the minxes, and we buy them a present which is a pic of them both taken on shore to say thanks for being so good to us - they get a bit teary leaving us they've been so amazing, and it's off to the cabin to pack. So so sad that it's over!
