Today we left the Mary river wilderness resort and went for a short drive to a wetlands centre. There were lots of fun ways to learn about the wetlands. We went upstairs and there were binoculars on a stand. We saw two buffaloes through the binoculars. We have seen lots of Buffaloes in captivity. Yesterday we went out to jim jim falls. The water was freezing but under the waterfall it was warmer. It was amazing how tall the cliffs were. After we went for a swim we walked back to the car and then went for a drive to have a look around. Then we had lunch at a campground. The campground was tidy and the grass was green. Yesterday we arrived at Edith Falls. We went to the upper pool for a swim. We jumped off rocks into the water and climbed up next to the waterfall and into another swimming hole which had a water monitor on the rock. We also climbed down the rocks into another big pool and swam to the other side and went to a waterfall that was about 3 metres high. We also chucked the pool noodle down 2 waterfalls. We also swam under the waterfall.

Yesterday we arrived at Katherine gorge. There was a poster saying there is Olive pythons around. There are SO many wallabies. Today we went on a cruise down two of the 13 gorges. On the way back down the first gorge we saw a little fresh water croc. We got to learn about the rocks and aboriginal stories for it. We also saw some rock art that was 8000 years old. We are going to spend the afternoon in the pool. Tomorrow we are going to Edith Falls.

Today we went for a snorkel down the warm spring/river of Bitter springs. We saw 2 turtles, weed under water caves and fish. The water is crystal clear. We spent all morning there. After lunch we went to swim at Mataranka springs. It had more man made sides than the other one and was a bit cooler.
