Although Simon is not to happy about heights we went up to the 86th floor of the Petronas twin towers. The tour of the towers - half price us senior citizens - includes a stop at the sky bridge at floor 41and then on to the observation deck on floor 86. Simon was none to pleased to be told that the sky bridge isn't actually attached directly to the towers as they are attached by rollers to allow the bridge to swing in the wind.
Up on to the observation deck where, composing my 'arty' photo's of the skyscrapers below, I came lens to nose with the window cleaners! Suspended about 400meters above the ground they appeared perfectly happy just like any other window cleaner with his bucket of soapy water and a dry clothe hanging out of his back pocket. I wonder how long it takes to clean the thousands of panes of glass which make up the towers
