Shame on you for not trying more local cuisine, The street food is fantastic. When in Singapore try Newton Circus Food Market (If it's still there) and of course Raffles. The vegetarian food in Singapore is great. Also try Drunken Prawns.

dear jackie and simon the resent blog souded a bit of trouble, glad you managed to sort it out [well done simon] lets hope things go to plan now. weather here is awfull , the bathroom is now finished looks great. dad is making a steady progress and i,m ok. lily has gone off to newbury, her fist time on the motor way in pouring rain but she got there safe and sound, any way take good care of yourselves love you lots mum and dad

Make sure you go to Jalan Petaling, Batu Caves, sample fish head curry in Bangsar and sample the street food. All very good.
Frasers Hill not far away also Genting Highlands. Malacca also worth a visit.
