Hi Jack and Liz
Just back home after a week away and have had a look at your latest news.It mainly sounds like good fun although I didn't like the sound of the intruder Liz and after hearing about your experience with the bikes I'm not feeling confident at all about hiring one when we go to Greece in the summer, which had been the plan.I didbn't realise that its so easy to fall off.
We have been on the long awaited trip to the Royal Opera House for your Dad's birthday. It was excellent. Since being home we have spent most of the time freezing. As usual here the central heating has been unreliable. So we have had the usual fight with radiators, thermostats and boilers, eventually settled for a fire in the lounge and a hot water bottle. I can hear you chuckling out lound as you lie in your hammock and think about a swim to cool down.
Hope the mosquitoes are keeping their distance and the cheese sandwiches are in good supply.
love Nikki

It seems to have gone a bit quiet from you two. How long are you going to be down at the bottom of the deep blue sea?
Al injured: bit his own tongue in a scrum so diet reduced and eating involves a straw. We all need him better, meal times last hours.
Amy now in love with India. A trip there could be your next venture after Anglesey, Scarborough and Whitby.
All love

Great to speak to Jack this afternoon. How far away you both are, but how near Jack sounded.
Ko Tao sounds lovely. Sun, sea, sharks - and cheese sandwiches. What more could you want ?. I cant imagine what it must be like to dive that far. Have you met Christian Ronaldo yet ? If you do meet a shark, remember what Bertolt Brecht said : If sharks ruled the world they would teach the little fish that it is a great honour to swim into the mouth of a shark.
Great news about the US mid-term elections, eh ? Poor old Donald Rumsfeld. And now the Nicaraguans have voted for Ortega, despite the usual threats from Washington. Yo, Bush!
The West Ham game was shocking. The fact that the Boro have to rely on Maccarone arguably the worst player ever to pull on a Boro shirt - to dig us out of trouble, says it all.
Attif and Ken are just back from Thailand, looking a bit jet-lagged. Meths lost again today, which leaves us firmly at the bottom of the table with only 1 point out of six games. Come back Jack - we need someone to score some goals.
The novel is finally finished. Which means I am knackered. But Nikki and I are going down to London tomorrow to see Puccini's La Boheme at the Royal Opera House (my birthday present). Then we are staying in a cottage in Derbyshire for the week (Grandma's birthday present to both of us).
We will be back on Saturday in time for the Liverpool game. Doesn't bear thinking about, does it ? Will e-mail you next week-end.
Take care and stay safe.
Much love,
Dad/Andy
Chris
Just relaxing having a coffee after visiting our usual Friday night haunt with mom and dad. Told Faisal you will want a job on return. He will be happy to provide. Pouring down at moment so envious of your weather conditions. Loking forward to match tomorrow. Expecting Earnshaw to score against us!!. Middlesborough need to win, not doing very well. Perhaps we might play each other again next season. Andy's wedding fixed for 3 November next year. Colin said if they sell sloggis remember to bring back with you. He also wishes to thank you for the use of your WC but unfortunately he did trip over your red exercise ball on the way. Noel is now hanging on the ceiling minus one ear!!!! We are plotting what to do for New Year. What will you be doing? Oh well must love and leave you now. Hope you are still enjoying yourselves.
P.S. We are planning short break to France at end of November to visit Christmas markets and bring back Colin's wine. All the best. Love Chris and Colin

Hi both
Found the site before you come home. You are away for just the fortnight aren't you?
I am a bit worried about the diving business. Do you know about the bends? Not good.
Jack you must be eating too much carbohydrate to get all those midgie bites. Stay off the noodles and have a sandwich instead.
All love mum/ali x x x

Dear Jack and Liz,
Great to hear that you have arrived safely. Now you know why the hotels in Bangkok are so cheap. Monkeys, mosquitos and noodles -sounds like the Boro team. I like the idea of 'some cave full of Buddha stuff'. How are you managing with the language ? Have you learned how to say, 'where is the bed in our hotel room ?' It might come in handy. The photos are wonderful. Looks like you have met some of the Boro team out there. Do you want us to post Liz a sandwich ? Take care.
