we arrived in Chaing Rai at about 3pm and went right to the Baan Bua guest house. The place was really nice run buy a guy from Great Yarmouth. The room was nice and cheap and very clean.
we both went down to a restaurant for some much needed lunch. After lunch Linsey went for a 'nap' and she didnt surface till 8am...
i was left to wander around and get lost by myself. I got all the laundry done because the last place gave it back to us wet and it stank of damp. i went to a bar had 2 beer played some pool with the staff. i was hammering everyone! I was set to 7 ball the waitress so i went soft on the black to save her embarrasment bu tthen she cleared up and sunk the black!! i left the bar and found the market. got a new pair of flip flops for 50p. I found a street vendor and got some beef noodle soup.
That was about it in Chiang Rai. Got a local bus from there to Chiang Mai which was 3 hours.
