We decided to leave on Thursday (a few weeks ago now!) for Lethbridge instead of Friday as we were both starting work on Monday we wanted to get back on Sunday so that we could relax before work. So we left Nelson on Saturday, on the way to Fernie but with the intention of breaking up the journey. We drove that morning to Tofino, the drive was beautiful, very hilly and scenic. We arrived 2 hours later in Tofino to find that there was no cheap accommodation, the weather was bad, the surf was bad, and it was mega expensive.
