Arrived in KL after a 12 hour flight from Amsterdam at 5.30am on 23rd April - flight was ok, it goes quickly whenyou have movies and TV on demand!  When we got near to KL there was loads of lightening, which was pretty cool to watch - from a distance!

We got a hostel which was excellent, and pretty much fell asleep straight away even though we shouldn't have!  we still managed to sleep that night though.

The next day we got our tickets for the bus to the Perhentian Islands, and walked around KL.  All we've had to eat is noodle soup so far - tasty!  Looking forward to the islands, and for a bit of sun!  KL is really hot and muggy, and it rains every day at 4.00 with some thunder and lightening which is pretty cool.
