Arrived at the port of Kuala Besut at 5.30 (again!) to get the boat over to the island. There are no ATM's or phones on the island its so small!

We got a speedboat over there which took half an hour.  We found a nice beach hut (no air con though!) which was right on thebeach.  When i put pictures on, you can see the view that we had - it makes up for the stifling heat there!

On the first day we did nothing but relax, its difficult to sunbathe though because as soon as you put cream on you have to go into the water to cool off!  I've gone through a whole bottle in 2 days!

We went on a snorkelling trip yesterday which was so good, we saw sharks (which was nice from a distance, but we saw about 5 sharks and some were pretty close!) which were reef sharks (apparently they dont attack...)barracuda, stingrays and giant turtles.  We were more scared about the lots of jellyfish that were hanging around anyway!

We have left the island now and are heading to Thailand.  The island was beautiful, but it was a little too relaxin - there was nothing at all to do!!  So we're going to head to thailand where we can relax if we want, but there's also things to do if you dont want to sit around.

We're travelling with another couple and 2 girls that we met on the island, so the 6 of us are heading up to Thailand together which is nice.

Will try and put pics on from Thailand, i think i've just run out of internet time!
