Evening everyone, still no pictures im afraid, im in a smelly little interent room in my hotel. Its called 'My House' - Stiiinkkyys, STINKYS!
My bag has arrived safe and sound so i only had the same clothes on for three days, it was lovely! Its ridiculously hot and humid so i did get quite excited when my bag finally arrived!
Only spent two days and two nights in Bangkok but it feels like we've been here a week and we seem to have done loads.
On the first night after i found a room/cell i went for a wander down Kohsarn road while i waited for the Halifax crew to sort themselves and message me back, this didnt happen quick enough so within about 15 minutes i got bundled into a tuk tuk and driven acrosss Bangkok for 'ping pong show' - why i thought it was reasonable to go to such things on my own i have no idea and the people i have met since wont let me live it down, despite the fact it was there that i met them! Anyway, it was pretty funny if not impressive!
No regrets as the first guy i started talking to was doing the same as me so i moved in with him for last night and we've booked Koa Pangnag together. After the ping pong show there was quite a big group of us so we stayed out quite a while and then there is a bit of a blank to be honest, i woke up on my bed in one piece so all is well. I did have a number of texts from a frantic sister as her brother had not come back and i was the last one with him, but thankfully i had nothing to do with it. After we parted he thought it was a good idea to get a hotel room with a thai girl, nothing to do with me!
I felt like crap yesterday, still in the same clothes and very hung over, managed to make it through and went on a tuk tuk around the city and got a boat down the river! The river is rancid but people have steps coming from the back of the stilt houses into the river and they were all swimming in it, even in my sweat soaked state it didnt look inviting! It was amazing to see though, probably one of my bangkok highlights!
Went to a thai boxing match last night which to be honest i was a bit dissapointed with, not very violent, its all a bit ritualistic and prancy. We did see some girls on the tv later though that were completely battering each other so we obviously went to the wrong one!
After that we came back and kind of all group together so there was quite a few of us again, got a burger king in true thai style and then ended in a very interesting game of 'i've never....' that not much that hasnt been done by the sounds of it!
I got side tracked on the way back to the room and ended up sitting on a corner with two norwiegens a famous swede and a thai girl called chang that was selling us beer and throwing ice at us, good laugh it was! I didnt get back till 7 and didnt wake up again until two this afternoon so we've not really done anything touristy! I've managed to buy a ring a head dress, a lamp and some thai boxing shorts but other than the only interesting thing ive done is barf.
It got to about 5 and id not eaten since the burger king the night before so thought i best get some food. I dont know why but i started to feel a bit sick, i had to walk a bit briskly down kohsarn road as the smell from the food vendors kept making me heave. Made it to the bar on getting in the toilets the smell in there made be 210% throw up, felt fine then so went and ate my chicken steak and 15 chips!
We bummed around a bit in other hotels cos they're nicer than ours and have air conditioning but now im sat waiting for the coach to come. I cant wait to sit on a bus for 13 hours, i might cry if its not air conditioned!
Other than that i think your all up to date.
Oh, i got chang to say 'love you long time' woo!
