So made it to sydney!!
We were staying in a room with rats and cockroaches in it at first bad times so we politely asked to move!!!
The rest of melbourne was good...ramsay street not so much!! Our bbq in the park however was fab met some other people there who helped us bbq!!!
we then went off to sydney!! its really nice here, yesterday we went to manly beach for a beach day, the beach was fab but the weather wasnt great so we left earlier than anticipated, still managed to get a bit of color though!! We had to take the boat over to the beach so we went past the bridge and the opera house which was really nice!
After our beach adventure we went back to the hostel and cooked (pasta as thats all we can afford) and went out! girls got 2 free drinks...done!!! was a pretty good night, first time we had sort of been out which was good!!
As the alcohol is so expensive here everyone drinks wine out of a box and calls it goon, an expression we soon learnt to adopt! Anyway its only 9 am so going to see if anyway is awake yet!!
Today we are doing sightseeing as the weather isnt great! should be good!

lonneke Hoi Irene. Nog gefeliciteerd met halen van je Masters. Tijd om lekker te genieten van dat mooie Australie. Als je naar Mac Kay gaat dan hebben wij daar vrienden zitten. Ik ga zo naar Nederland maar ben begin april weer terug. Als je een vlucht kan vinden met een stopover in delhi ben je hier natuurlijk van harte welkom. Have fun !!! Lonneke en Willem

mama I think Billy Connolly ate the cockroaches when he was down under! Heard you guys had a barbie with real food at Phillip and Sylvia's. Have an awesome time on the bus. will try and give you a call soon. x
