As walking dead we made it into Rome. Grabbed a train to the center of town, threw our packs on our backs and sludged across town to our Hostel. They let up drop our packs off there, but we could not check in our room till 3, so we grabbed a map and plotted our course for todays sightseeing while eating a ham and cheese sandwich at a local cafe. Well we landed in Munich saying goodbye to the green isle and embarked on the suffering of a 10 hr layover. As luck would have it when we arrived all the stores and restaurants closed in the terminal. We were of course starving so went looking for food, we stumbled on a sleeping area for people on layovers, comfy reclined seats, pillows, and phone recharging plugs. Today we went to the Wicklow Mountains. Took a drive through Glendaloughe which is known for its beauty. We ended the day at the Powerscourt waterfall. A really cool place where we did alot of trail hiking and exploring. Kade found what he swears was an old Hobbit house, lol. Today was an uneventful day really. We hung out in Waterford and walked around the city center. Went down to the beach for a while, but the wind kicked up and it got overcast so we headed back to town. Our plan is to head in the morning to Wicklow, camp out up there overnight then head to Dublin and drop the car off to get ready for a long trip overnight to Rome. Ok today was even better weather wise than yseterday. We have been truly blessed with great weather. Today we visited Cork were the Blarney Castle resides. Its amazing that people actually lived in these stone fortresses. Its no Holiday Inn and it was considered luxary. Imagine what the peasants lived in.
