We visited Manly which I didn't think was overly impressive. It was quite nice, the beach was quite nice, the streets were quite nice, even the McDonalds was quite nice, but "quite nice" is boring, and bland, so this place didn't exactly excite me. The ferry departs Sydney Harbour for Manly every half hour and takes half an hour to get there, and granted, the ferry ride was also "quite nice". We got some really good close up pictures of the opera house and the Bridge, and having uploaded all my Sydney pictures onto Facebook, I can easily say some of my best ones were taken when I was on the boat going over, so it wasn't a complete waste of time. The picture on your left was taken when I had only just departed Manly ferry terminal.
Maybe it was just because it was Sunday, but it was exceptionally busy. There was Ocean World near the harbour at Manly which apparently you can go in a cage and see the sharks, and there was also a beach, but apart from that, I didn't see that much to be honest, so don't think I'll bother going back there ever again.
You have probably now just realised that when I write in these blogs, I will be open and honest about the people and places that I visit (if you don't know me already that is, and you don't already know what I'm like).
