After a week in tropical Queensland it was time to head on down the road. We got an early start for our trip from Cairns to Airlie Beach and that was a good thing as due to a lot of road construction the trip took over eight hours - mainly on a narrow single lane highway. G'day mates. How ya goin? We've had a great week touring Northern Queensland. We've spent time out on the Great Barrier Reef as well as in the neighboring rainforest areas. The reef is simply amazing. The diversity of sea life is incredible. We saw lots of beautiful fish and coral. The highlight was seeing a giant sea turtle.
