Hoi An has been as gorgeous as ever. The ancient town has grown hugely but it's fantastic to see it is all in keeping and you'd hardly know what was old and what wasn't. Great that they charge tourists 120,000 dong (about 8) for a ticket valid for your entire stay and the money goes to retaining the ancient town. We've been stoked with Thanh Binh Riverside as a place to stay. Plenty of room for the kids, a gorgeous pool and we can walk to the ancient town whenever we like and pop. Ack for a swim to escape the heat. Have been busy at the tailors with varying degrees of success more from our mistakes rather than theirs. Also had shoes made very successfully. Bikes to the beach are great fun and don't take long and great views along the way. Whilst the beach is busy we saw hardly any rubbish and the sea was warm, clean and clear. Soul kitchen for lunch was pretty good too. Still only paying about 1-2 for a bottle of beer.
