Spend another gorgeous day in the Cinque Terre after our night in Vernazza. Woke early and climbed up to SAN Bernadine, a tiny village perched high up overlooking Corniglia and the ocean. The Cinque Terre has not disappointed. What an incredible place. Started the day catching the train to Monterosso at the northern end of the 5 villages. This town has a big beach with crystal clear water. Tons of cafes and restaurants overlooking the sea then tucked back behind this frontage narrow streets with gorgeously painted houses. Wow arrived on the Cinque terra today. A quick walk around La Spezia before catching the train to Rio Maguire one of the five villages on the Cinque Terre. Thankfully less people than we had expected but still very popular. Just stunning. Houses tumbling down the cliffs towards a crystal clear sea. Every colour of the rainbow. Great couple of days in Florence walking and soaking up the atmosphere. So many more tourists than when we last visited. Stunning buildings and beautiful countryside.
