Wow arrived on the Cinque terra today. A quick walk around La Spezia before catching the train to Rio Maguire one of the five villages on the Cinque Terre. Thankfully less people than we had expected but still very popular. Just stunning. Houses tumbling down the cliffs towards a crystal clear sea. Every colour of the rainbow. Can’t wait to get walking and exploring tomorrow. La Spezia looks like a fantastic place to base ourselves. Great hotel with a gorgeous view very close to the train station so perfect location too.
