Imogen Conquers Europe!
So, after a harrowing bus trip and zero sleep, I finally made it back to Thamel in Kathmandu. I only had a few days before my flight home, so I took the time to enjoy the city.
I spent a day wandering the streets, eventually making my way to Durbur Square. The square is a famous meeting point within Kathmandu, and is one of the best examples of wood carving in Nepal. I treated myself to getting mehandi (henna) on my hands, which only took a few hours.
I finished off my three month trip in one of the most challenging travel locations in the world. After a journey filled with snow, hospitals, paranoid Hungarians, heat, trains, Himalayas, Pyrenees and Alps, I made it home.
