This morning we got up fairly late again bad headed down to the kitchen for breakfast. The weather was set to be really good today so the plan was to go to the beach. It was about 1pm by the time we got there. It was certainly hot but pretty windy so the sand kept blowing in our eyes which was annoying. Having thought we were used to the sun and that an hour would do no harm, we didn't 'slip, slap, slop' but lived to regret this being fairly burnt later. Georgies face was hilarious!

Having had enough of the beach after a couple of hours we decided to have a quick shower then head into town for sake of something to do. Georgie had seen a top she wanted to buy yesterday as well. It was boiling so we went in our shorts to let our bodies see the sun for one of what could be the last times.

We started with Melbourne Central shopping mall where G successfully bought her yellow top. We then went back found to Zara, on the way stopping at this amazing jewellery store where I bought 7 pairs of earrings and a necklace for 16 pounds!!! At Zara I bought the jeans I loved from yesterday!

We got the tram back round to the Crown casino and walked back along the promenade to the DFO where G also bought the necklace she had wanted. The weather was lovely and the city looked so nice down the river. I think Melbourne is the place I would choose to live and Sydney the place I will always love to visit. A little like London is. The bars along the river here are also really sweet.

We went back to St Kilda and started to get ready for our night out. The whole room was going out which was good. We had some drinks while getting ready then went down to the bar, coming back up to the room at about midnight since everyone was drinking up there. We are with a Dutch guy who is hilarious and was telling us in the voice of Borat that he had sold his cat to be able to afford to come party here.

We just stayed at the bar here all night then headed to macdonalds for a burger after where we had a slight confrontation with this crazy couple after Georgie had split her drink on the floor!!
