So here I sit in a bus depot eagerly awaiting a 10 hour bus/ferry ride to go to Koh Samui. The wedding or weddings were yesterday. The first one was the Buddhist wedding and it was a different 3 hour long wedding. Yea 3 hours long!!!! Well I think last blog I had said that i had left Koh Samet and was on route to Hua Hin via Bangkok. So we had to leave Koh Samet really early to catch a bus and in doing so could not eat any breakfast and couple that with a 3.5 hour bus ride, we were all quite hungry. Well my days on Koh Samet have come to a close. I spent 3 nights and 2 full days on this here island, and it has been a brilliant time, as the Brits would say. The beaches were nice, with sandy beaches and the warmest ocean temperature I have ever swam in. People get beach boners when they see a sandy beach, however I feel like I will bringing back a pound of Thai sand to the island. Well I'm heading out of Bangkok now, kinda relieved by the whole idea of leaving Bangkok. My general feeling of Bangkok is that you really have to be on your guard with just about everything.
