Yesterday we went back up to the volcano in the hope that we might see something for the 2nd time! We sat with our eyes glued to the volcano from about 3pm until 6:30pm, but mother nature was not playing ball and no matter how hard we willed the clouds to move, they were firmly set where they were, so no lava this time. So we arrived in La Fortuna in the north of Costa Rica after a 5 hour drive (we paid for an interbus shuttle so it was comfortable and air conditioned...what luxury!!).
