Greeted by a very friendly character - scooter. He welcomed us with crepes and pizza.

29th- Slept in late, walked towards downtown after scooter cooked us "egg n eye" - yummy! Then had some tacos at a trailer park eatery, lots of vintage and cowboy shops.

Arrived in Flagstaff on the 31st after 28 hours on the bus! Hostel provides free tea - yay!

1st November - Woke up 7am, saw it was a nice clear day got our flip flops and t shirts on went outside to find it was about minus 6 degrees!!! BRR! On the bus to the Grand Canyon national park saw some wild elks! As we arrived got really really excited, booked our helicopter tour - REALLY excited now. Taking off was fun, sad we weren't next to each other though. Laura sat in the front due to weight ratio so she got full view and ting!! As we flew towards the Canyon they played "fly like an eagle" follwed by "come fly with me". When we flew down into the Grand Canyon epic music was played - it was stunning, hard to describe, everyone should see it. Best birthday present OMG thanks Laura!!! We walked along the south rim, learnt about rocks and stuff. Got home watched the wedding singer and had pizza! Perfecto!

2nd - Even colder than yesterday (this time Hugh wore trousers). Bought some much needed vegetables from the shop, had a walk around Flagstaff, casually strolled into a gun shop. Loads of big stuffed animals mounted on the walls, really strange place.

3rd - Got the bus for 5 hours, sat next to a broken window blowing us with cold air. Going to meet Andy and Simon (Brighotn guys we met in New Orleans) in Vegas yay!
