6th - 9th oct

Just a couple of hours before we left niagara to chicago we checked hostels turned out the whole of chicago was booked for the 3 days we wanted. So we spent 3 stressful hous trying to figure out where to stay or what to do! didn't want to spend 3 days in a random place so with help from our friend tom we decided to stay in washington DC. after all that the bus didnt turn up for an hour and a half, meaning we missed our transfer to DC....after feeling like criminals and being shouted at, at canadian to US customs, 15 hours later arrived in DC. The hostel was more like a 4 or something star hotel, ensuite, tv,bigdouble bed for the price of a dorm.. sweet!

over the next couple of days - saw general monuments of washington - USA history museum (good and free!) - really hot lush weather.. then the 18 hours to chicago!
