Today, my loving sister, niece, bride and myself ventured into Washington to play tourist.
So we drive 10 minutes to a park and ride, drop the vehicle off and hop on the metro, which is a 1/2 hr ride to downtown Washington.
Once there, we went to the White House where a media scrum was huddled around some guy doing a media release, opportunity knocked and both Dominique and myself managed to photobomb the media scrum. Good s***s and giggles.
Then my bride decides she is going to befriend three Jehovah witness ladies who are asking if the devil exists, well Dom being Dom strikes up a long conversation ending with her regaling them stories of our cat lilly.
I saved the Jehovah's witnesses from my chatty bride and dragged her away so they could continue saving the world.
Well, we had a nice lunch, more monuments and museums, then off to the metro to get home.
Note for all you prairie folk, when the train reaches the end of the line, you need to get off. We missed our stop, but no fear, railway guy drove us back down the line, wished us good luck and left.
Then in the car park, I hit the wrong elevator button meaning to hit the up button, but accidentally hit "help" instead. Oops. Police were coming so I did the honourable thing and ran away.
Well we got home, had a lovely supper, but lights are out and we're not answering the door for police. Just in case they're looking for me

Drunk 5 I find it hard to believe that your beautiful bride would strike up a conversation with perfect strangers and then need you to rescue them. Noooooooot! Oh and as for the metro - who might be to blame for that?
Delaney i knew I had parents somewhere, glad your having fun, want to talk to your children?
Loving Sister Driving home from the Metro lot amounted to me being constantly mocked for first not identifying that we should have exited the train and then driving up further into the parking lot before driving down towards the exit. Never fear more stories of Lily saved the day
Dominique The Jehovah's witnesses started talking to me, so we had a lovely conversation, Delaney, try staying home so that we may be able to contact you, and it was Lorine's fault that we stayed on the subway when everyone else got off. We're tourists, so she had no proper excuse.
Alex Haha of course mom was chatting up the Jehovah's witnesses. Auntie Lorine and Joce must've had quite the day keeping you out of trouble
