Today being a cold rainy day we zipped a 100 miles down the highway to Mammoth Caves national forest.
$28 bucks bought us a 2 mile underground cave tour within the forest, very interesting with some moderately confining spaces. Upon exiting the caves and listening to the ominous weather forecast, we decided to push onward to see if we could drive out of it.
We finally stopped around 6 pm, still raining and cold in eastern Kentucky, which by the way is beautiful country. Dom went shopping in a local Walmart and I put the generator on and cracked a Corona and put on a movie.
Dom emerged from the store 2 hours later, I think she's tired of me and needs some "Dom time", I don't know why, I think I'm adorable!!!!
We cuddled in a corner of the Walmart parking lot and slept like a rock.
