Hello again everyone,
Well, my day started with breakfast out on the patio, Harry had gone to a bakery across the street and gotten us some freshly baked pastries and returned to make coffee and have us enjoy it all in the beautiful warm weather. Okay, I know I'm bragging, especially since we've been keeping track of the weather back home as well as Facetiming our girls and being able to see the snow through their phones.
After breakfast, there was a band setting up their equipment right beside our suite, we are also right beside the bar which is named Waldo's, so we spoke to the guys from the band (5 guys around our age or a bit older) and decided that we would make sure to listen to them right after a quick trip to the grocery store to restock our provisions. The band's name was Lion Heart, they played different types of music such as reggae, jazz, and just mostly easy listening. The music was great, we enjoyed it very much. Then we decided to go for a nice long walk on the beach, we saw some teenagers with their wake boards trying to ride waves, we talked to them for a bit , then we saw a couple with their son. They had just made a snowman out of sand, I took a photo of Tanner and his snowman, and then I told the mom that we had snow at home right now, she said "oh I'm sure", I wondered how she knew that there was snow where I come from, I then realized that I was wearing a Canada t-shirt, so that was my blonde moment of the day.
I did a couple loads of laundry today, and saw 3 cats who are apparently residents of this resort, so after chasing 2 of them, I managed to pat one of them, I miss Lily and Echo back home. Today was warmer, about 22 celsius, it was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the warmth. I was just talking to Chantal through Facetime, and since I was wondering how my plants and flowers are doing at home, I asked her to show them to me. I almost cried when I saw my Hibiscus tree, apparently she's been so busy, my plants have not been watered for 2 weeks, good thing we put Delaney in charge of feeding Echo and Lily, sheesh.
That's it for today, Harry's gone to bed, no doubt he'll be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow, apparently while walking on the beach very early this morning, he decided to start running again, so he managed a couple of miles before his old body had had enough. Take care and we'll chat tomorrow.
