Horvats USA 2017
Beautiful drive today...Yes, you can fly here in two hours - but driving you see our amazing country. Rivers big and small, birds, wombats and echidnas, vintage cars, old country town pubs, banana farms and sugar cane fields, bridges, alpacas and old train carriages. We left Coffs at 8:30, kids were somewhat confused about the Big Banana. Apart from a quick loo stop and a chicken roll for lunch, a fairly non-stop drive to Noosa, arriving at about 3pm. A bit of a stuff up at our caravan park...they misunderstood "camper trialer" to mean campervan, and booked us onto completely bitumened sites, which makes it very hard to tie off and peg down your tent. However as the site (and every other spare patch of grass in noosa) is full, some inventiveness was called for and we managed to set up. (And for those asking, it took us about 45 mins to completely set up). So now dinner has been had, wine has been consume, and we're probably ******* off the rest of the park with our 80's music. Oh...and it's 24 degrees! ( not as warm as for those I know travelling WA). No plans for the morning at the moment ezcept for a dam good fry up for breakfast.
