Finally we have arrived! Touched down at Stockholm Skavska Airport at 11.30 yesterday morning, and it has only just sunk in for both of us that we are actually here! Stockholm is an absolutly beautiful city, far more than we expected, not that we really knew what to expect, the size of the city is far larger than either of us anticipated, to see it all we had to resort to a boat trip around some of the islands, such a chore! The hostel is also surprisingly good, a calm transition into youth hostel life! We are sleeping at the front of a boat, so the water rocks you to sleep, I love it! Looking forward to flying to Helsinki tomorrow, although I think both Helly and I would like more time to explore Stockholm. Hopefully the next journal posting will be from the lovely capital of Finland in a couple of days time!
