The main event of our final two days in Adelaide included a trip to the Childrens Hospital. Max had a fall in the campground play area and slashed his forehead open. Like most head injuries there was plenty of blood and initially lots of tears.
Thankfully the split joined back together perfectly and because it was on his forehead the doctor was able to glue it...Phew...are last experience with stitches was not good. The nurse gave Max and Archie an iceblock for their bravery...so they both left with a smile.
The following day was pretty low key. We caught up on a few jobs and made a trip to Bunnings. We had planned to visit the ship graveyard but that will have to wait until our next visit...as will a few other things we missed doing.
Dispite the accident...our stay in Adelaide was really enjoyable. Next stop the Barossa Valley.
