We are now in South Australia...a few things have changed. The weather has improved, the water tastes different and people towing campers/caravans wave to each other (well actually, it isnt really a wave, it is more like raising two fingers off the steering wheel...and a bit of a head nod) something we were very familiar with when travelling around Europe. Although in Europe motorhome drivers didn't wave to caravans and visa versa...a very odd unwritten rule.
We have just spent the past few nights at Kingston, a pretty little beachside town about 200km west of the SA/Victorian boarder. We have all enjoyed spending time at the beach, swimming, digging in the sand, kayaking and having plenty of running races (I certainly have to put effort in to beat Max these days).
We celebrated Max's 6th Birthday yesterday. Roy and I walked while the boys rode their bikes into town. They got to choose a "treat" from the bakery and decided on a cream bun. They devoured them pretty quickly. Thanks so much to everyone that called to wish him a "Happy Birthday".
Today the boys were kayaking and saw a seal. They were thrilled, especially Archie. He couldn't wait to get back to shore to tell me. It was very cute.
The campground here has been terrific for soccer and cricket...so there has also been quite a bit of that over the past few days.

Joy Clancy Hi Jo, I don't know if you remember me but we met at Cumberland River camping in the Kimberley camper trailer. Sounds like you're having a wonderful time as a family. Noticed you were in South Australia. Streaky Bay is a good spot to camp, great library across the road , which I think is part of the school from memory. x Joy
