I started the day by having breakfast with five lovely Dutch people, I love being around Dutch people and always get a kick out of listening to them talk. I slept wonderfully :-) I knew I would as soon as I had walked into my room cos there was a dark blind. Today I would be crossing over the border and into Hungary,my fourth country of the tour. Should have been an easy ride but over confident rode off in a blaze of fire only to have map upside down and therefore in the wrong bloody direction. I quite rightly told my self off for being a total t*** cos it meant that I did 20km extra - yes I was that confident :-)....

I slept pretty well considering. I awoke to rain on the window so I knew I was in for a great ride today.  I packed up my stuff and then headed to load up the bike. Aaah man, This is the third time that I have written this entry so I am going to summarize. Slept badly, got up saw all of Bratislava in two hours. Sat, ate, drank and read all morning. Went back to room had siesta. Back to Old Town in afternoon, know it like the back of my hand now. Ate chicken in paprika sauce and dumplings and of course ice cream for dessert. Watched and listened to French promoting France. Walked around more and that was that.

Terrible night's sleep, really is beginning to annoy me, and tire me out. Was up and about before Starbucks was even open so had to occupy myself until I could get my caffeine fix.  I packed up my bike, still have the trailer but have a feeling it won't last much longer.
