Day 57 Wed 6 Jul 16, Parkes to Goondiwindi Qld, 620km, 3 (feels like 1) to 12deg, rain till about 2pm then cloudy but fine. Today we made it back "home" to Qld and coincidentally, (or not) when we crossed the border the weather improved remarkably! Yay, there was a little blue sky and the temp was a balmy 12deg. Got away from Parkes at 7:25am and straight onto the well worn and busy Newell Hwy. It is brilliant in places but it can be lumpy and in need of some TLC...

Day 10 Fri 20 May 16, Broken Hill NSW to Peterborough SA, 284km fine & sunny 9 - 20deg, however it seemed much cooler due to a lazy breeze which persisted all day. Day 9 Thus 19 May 16, Broken Hill, fine & sunny 7 - 22deg, brilliant day! Brisk this morning on the racecourse but clear as a bell. After brekky we headed out of town on the bikes to see the "Living Desert and Sculptures" area. 16km out so we were warned up nicely by the time we arrived. Day 7 Tues 17 May 16, Bourke to Broken Hill 625km (big but easy drive) fine and sunny with some early high clouds, 12 - 26deg.
