Walker's Travels in Scandinavia 2017 and others
Day 8 Wed 18 May 16, Broken Hill, fine & clear, 9 - 22deg. So quiet here despite the fact there's nearly 50 vans parked within a 100m or so. Beautiful crisp morning. We were expecting early track work on the racecourse but that didn't kick in (excuse the pun) till after sunrise at 7am. Of course the sun is appearing later in the morning the further west we go, go figure!! It was nice to watch the trotters go round the track early morning. As there were no powered sites left last night we snapped up the first available one this morning. So that took up 15-20 minutes of out time early. Wendy then got stuck into some Army work while Greg hit the town on his bike. Plenty to see. A picture is worth a thousand words, so we'll just let them do the talking. Dinner was home made fried rice with chicken prepared by the apprentice chef.
