Day 9 Thus 19 May 16, Broken Hill, fine & sunny 7 - 22deg, brilliant day! Brisk this morning on the racecourse but clear as a bell. After brekky we headed out of town on the bikes to see the "Living Desert and Sculptures" area. 16km out so we were warned up nicely by the time we arrived. Day 8 Wed 18 May 16, Broken Hill, fine & clear, 9 - 22deg. So quiet here despite the fact there's nearly 50 vans parked within a 100m or so. Beautiful crisp morning. We were expecting early track work on the racecourse but that didn't kick in (excuse the pun) till after sunrise at 7am.
