A day in Downtown Anchorage.

The Anchorage Museum was quite impressive, especially with the Smithsonian Exhibit about the different cultures. It took what we saw yesterday at the Heritage Center, and greatly expanded it. I could have spent hours in there.

We walked around a bit of the city and saw some nice art pieces scattered about the city. Then, we headed out of town out along Ship Creek. This is the second most fished stream in the state, second only to Russian River. On a better day this would have been more enjoyable.

We end our day having dinner at Sourdough Mining Company, an all-you can eat family style dinner – all the food was perfect, especially the corn fritters with honey butter. Yum! Dinner and a show .. there is a short vid of the entertainment. Enjoy!
