Yesterday we had a relaxed morning and caught friends on tv in the lounge area while eating crumpets for brekkie. We got out and about fairly soon after that and walked along the boardwalk towards the lagoon. The lagoon was lovely, a man made beach/swimming pool really but as it was so humid and at 31 degrees it was a nice oasis after a hot walk. Sunday we had our flight from Gold Coast to Cairns, Judy kindly dropped us up at the airport. Unfortunately they delayed the flight so we didn't leave until 8pm and didn't get to the hostel until 10.30. So we had to find our key in the safe and locate our dorm room.
