We have spent 2 nights here, its a beautiful beach on the lake. Big stretch of beach and lovely crystal clear waters. Last night we had a traditional african meal cooked for us by guys from the Next village- one called Mel Gibson! We had a big party with our tour group, it was a really good, really funny night which involved dressing up in clothes bought from a dodgy side of the road stall, punch mixed in a cooler and alot of dancing and singing on the bar. ...

In the last few days we have covered ALOT of miles on the truck after a rather horrendous choppy journey back from Zanzibar, so not too much to update you on. We've had some truck mechanical issues along the way where we had to stop for some long periods and left the men to do their thing, we chilled out in the shaded bar so Hakuna Matata it could have been worse. We got to our campsite, Tan-Swiss, late after dark so we had a nice beef stroganoff cooked for us. ...
